A Place To Do Pull Ups |

There are several pull up bars available in the stores, but we recomend getting the one from Beachbody. You will be doing a wide variety of pull ups and you want to be certain the bars you get will allow you to do all of them. It mounts in a standard sized interior doorway (removes easily after your workout). We have been very happy with the quality of ours. |

A Good Yoga & Plyometrics Mat |

Again, many youga mats on the market, and yes this one is more expensive. But we went through several before we finally order this one. Bumbells or Resistance Bands |
||
People ask me all of the time, dumbbells or resistance bands. The answer...Either one or both! Each has it’s advantages. John uses just weights and likes that the ones that you "dial" the weight you want take up very little space in our room. Resistance bands can be used throughout P90X in place of the dumbbells. In fact, one of Tony’s “kids” (as he calls them…his workout buddies in the P90X workouts) will be demonstrating the exercise using a band. Beachbody carries “B Lines” resistance bands. I use them and like them a lot. When I started P90X I only used the bands, now I interchange bands and weights. |

Heart Rate Monitor |

Beachbody recommends that you use a heart rate monitor to gauge your intensity and progress during workouts. This is a great monitor made by Reebok. |

Yoga Blocks |

These are also recommended by Beachbody to use during Yoga. The blocks offer added support to assist with balance while holding certain poses. |

We have this on a monthly home delivery schedule because we LOVE this product. If you order only one other thing after getting the DVD's...Get this! Folks, these workouts are WAY too hard to be skipping here! Ingredients include protein, creatine, L-Glutamine, and L-Argenine. Ladies, don’t worry about the creatine making you “bulky’ either.
